Welcome to my voice studio!

Annina Hsieh, soprano

I am a Boston-based soprano and educator. I completed my Master of Music in Voice Performance at Cleveland Institute of Music, and my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Ithaca College. As a performer, I strive to connect with audiences in opera and recital settings. In 2019, I won the Handel and Haydn Society’s Barbara E. Maze Award for Musical Excellence.

I have been teaching voice for five years. I work with beginning and advanced students of all ages. Watching my students grow as artists, advance their vocal technique, and express themselves with increasing musical specificity is one of my greatest joys. I believe that, above all, lessons should be tailored to each student’s learning style and musical goals. I teach students in classical, musical theater, jazz, folk, and pop repertoire. My students have been accepted into college programs to study Vocal Performance and Musical Theater. Check out my teaching philosophy for more information on my teaching.
